This workshop focused on a few unique and whimsical hands that became popular in the 1970s and ’80s inspired by calligrapher and typographer Arthur Baker. These letter shapes profoundly influenced the work of many calligraphers at the time. Sue also shared many tips for adding a graphic element to lettering to enhance a piece.
